Big Print Basics

I like big prints and I can not lie. You other quilters can't deny!

Okay so we like them, but what should we do with them?

Big prints can be intimidating because they are big and beautiful and we don't want to mess them up... this is why we have fabric stashes after all -to save the fabric! No need to worry about it any further. Make this simple quilt in a day and display your big prints loud and proud!

This quilt will be offered as a one-day class at Quilting Mayhem in Snohomish, Washington.  The class is only $30, plus you receive the pattern for free and a discount on your supplies when you sign-up and pay to reserve your space in the class!

We will cover all the basics such as rotary cutting, seam allowance, seam placement, ironing, layout, and sewing.  We will also discuss ways to use up scraps from the quilt, backing and binding choices, and how to fix little mistakes that might occure in quilting which is great knowledge for any future quilt.

Be sure to bring a lunch or plan to pick-up something because we are going to spend the day playing and end up with a completed quilt top by the end of it.

I hope to see you there!
